About the role

We’re hiring an experienced Integration Team Lead to lead IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IIB projects for a mission-critical enterprise environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong technical foundation in IBM middleware and a track record of guiding cross-functional teams through the full integration lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of integration developers on ACE-based integration projects.
• Architect and implement reusable message flows, sub-flows, and service connectors.
• Define and enforce best practices in logging, monitoring, error handling, and security.
• Manage sprint planning, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with solution architects, BAs, and QA teams to deliver on-time and high-quality releases.
• Provide mentorship and drive engineering standards across the integration team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IBM ACE/IIB and middleware systems.
• Strong knowledge of IBM MQ, DataPower, API Connect, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT.
• Experience implementing synchronous/asynchronous integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Git, UrbanCode Deploy.
• Experience in cloud integration (IBM Cloud, Google Cloud – optional).
• Deep understanding of DevOps and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with ability to manage technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Certified Developer – App Connect Enterprise V12.
• Experience in enterprise integration leadership roles.
• Proven ability to scale and maintain high-performance integration systems.
• Familiarity with regulated sectors (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
