How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Instrumentation(I) Leader is responsible for the Instrumentation maintenance of the Yanbu site. He leads the I Technicians. He schedule and organize the maintenance on the Instrumentation(I) facilities as per the maintenance strategy. He will prepare and manage quality assurance and reliability documents, instruct, supervise and control contractors and give support to the pipeline team. If requested, he will perform site job himself. He supports the Process Control Engineer for the maintenance of the process control systems (DCS, SIS, PLC etc) and in procurement process to validate services and spare parts offers. The maintenance activities encompasses: predictive maintenance (PdM), preventive maintenance (PM),management of change(MOC) and unscheduled maintenance. The I Leader is also in charge of continuous improvement, safety supervision and on-the-job-training for Instrumentation Technicians.
1 Safety & IMSAchieve a high safety level in his work. Ensure that his team and his contractors work safely (zero accident policy) in compliance with Air Liquide safety requirements. Reports and analyses any safety related near miss event or accident if any. Attend safety and IMS training.
Implement IMS in the field of his activities. Maintain - in line with IMS guidelines- all HSE related equipments such as EIS, fire monitoring and alarm systems, HV equipments etc.
2 Maintenance for Electrical & Instrumentation facilitiesLeads the I Maintenance Team. Provide info and participate to the long term maintenance schedules depending on maintenance priorities and equipment availability. Schedule and perform maintenance in time at best cost without compromising safety and reliability. Implement predictive(PdM) and preventive maintenance(PM) plan. Develops and implements maintenance procedures and tools. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System, Maximo) as works planner. Manage maintenance work history. Keep technical documentation up to date. Control and monitor contractors involved. Manage spare parts stock. He performs the maintenance of the process control systems (DCS, SIS, PLC etc) according to the recommendations of the Process Control Engineer.
Field of activity: Field instruments, Control systems, analyzer, fire alarm. - Developing and/or approving specifications for new products and/or services to be purchased, taking into account applicable codes, standards and regulations,
- Amending these specifications to take into account accepted deviations proposed by the provider,
- Defining technical criteria for the initial and subsequent provider evaluations,
- Expressing a documented conclusion (favorable, favorable subject to certain conditions, unfavorable) on provider technical evaluations,
- Establishing the type and the extent of controls for products and services,
- Involving a multidisciplinary team when needed,
- Providing support in the decision-making regarding nonconforming products or services from providers.
- Maintain istrumentations devices reliability 100% of the time, maintain the PM and spares required.
3 Reliability ImprovementParticipate to RCA analysis when required and implement actions in his field of activities. Promote the best practices in his team. Participate to the vulnerability studies. Purchase necessary spare parts for I. Suggest improvements, participate in the MOC process and implement I modifications. Use CMMS (Maximo) program and keep it up to date. Analyz instruments (transmitters, control valves, etc) failure rate and make recommendation to replace/ upgrade or improve the condition.
4 Purchasing assistance & contractors supervision.Support Maintenance Manager for invite to bidder(ITB) document and technical bid analysis(TBA) for material purchasing or maintenance works to be outsourced.
Provide technical support for purchasing process.
Material Inspection at delivery. Supervision of contractors for safety and quality during site works.
5 TrainingSupport Maintenance Manager to define training plan for his team.
Implement training plan and on the job training for his team. Evaluates and level-up competenties of his technicians.
Perform yearly evaluation of his technicians.
6 ReportingDaily, weekly, monthly maintenance works report.
On the job training evaluation.
Verify spare parts stock per bi-annually and report.

Control System program,
Discipline Engineering- Industrial Transmitters valves, analyzers, CMMSWork experience
8years + in the field of refineryForeign language
Hydrogen experience is a plus
