Job Description

Parsons is looking for a capable and detail-oriented Roads Inspector (Saudi National) to join our infrastructure construction supervision team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting road works, including pavements, signage, road furniture, and associated civil infrastructure, to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct regular inspections of road construction works including subgrade, subbase, asphalt paving, kerbs, sidewalks, signage, and road markings.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor material quality and compaction tests to ensure performance standards are met.
• Check line and level of road layers to confirm accuracy against design.
• Identify and report any non-conforming work and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with contractors and other discipline inspectors to ensure proper sequencing and execution.
• Document daily activities, inspections, and test results.
• Ensure all road works are carried out safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in road construction supervision, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of pavement construction, materials, and QA/QC procedures.
• Ability to interpret road design drawings, cross-sections, and alignment plans.
• Effective communication and reporting skills in English.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience working with major infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
• Familiarity with local road authority standards and construction practices.
• Knowledge of field testing methods and digital reporting tools is a plus.
