Inspector- Civil

Job Description

WSP is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Inspector to join our team on a major airport infrastructure project in Riyadh. This role is open to Saudi nationals only as part of our commitment to local workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site inspections to ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor contractors' work, reporting any non-compliance or quality issues.
• Verify that all materials and equipment used are approved and meet project standards.
• Ensure work progress aligns with project timelines and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other inspectors to resolve site issues.
• Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, progress records, and documentation.
• Assist in reviewing method statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Support the project team during audits and client inspections.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Saudi national (mandatory)
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil inspection, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects
• Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and specifications
• Familiarity with airport-related civil works is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment
