Inspector- Architecture

Job Description

WSP is seeking a qualified and motivated Inspector – Architecture to join our team for a prestigious airport project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, supervising, and inspecting architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and adherence to project schedules.
• Review and comment on architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or discrepancies, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical and site issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation for project progress and quality control.
• Support the Resident Engineer and senior staff in delivering the project to the client’s expectations.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in architectural inspection, preferably on large-scale infrastructure/airport projects.
• Strong knowledge of international building codes, standards, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Previous experience working with leading consultancies/engineering firms is preferred.
• Saudi Nationality is mandatory.
