Work Experience Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in the same field.

Education/Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or related filed.

Responsibilities

  • Critically appraise and evaluate infection prevention and control knowledge and practices.
  • Carry out risk assessments in relation to infection prevention and control.
  • Day- to day monitoring of infection control incidents.
  • Supervise infection control program.
  • Regular Follow the recommendations of the infection control committee.
  • Infection control practice training for new staff
  • Analyze and provide performance data providing assessment of improvement programs.
  • Highlights and eliminates unsafe practices in all levels of staff.
  • Audit compliance to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Expert infection prevention and control advice for operating units and management teams.
  • Develop, review, evaluate and implement infection control policies to improve quality of care.
  • Consult with department and administrative staff on infection control issues.
  • Participate in periodic surveys of patient care areas.
  • Round in whole center to be sure that the employees work the infection control rules.
