Responsible for the deployment of the industrialization standards in coordination with the BU, following the manufacturing policy and the respective standards which includes: determining standard times & routing for manufacturing operations, plan the production process and calculate the respective resources required to produce the demand, as long as the identification and execution of improvements initiatives and manufacturing best practices (6S, KAIZEN, etc.)

Work Measurement and Routing Time:

• Conduct work measurement for any new product or review existing products using certified motion and work content studies.
• Calculate routing time to ensure accurate production planning.

Process Planning:

• Establish optimized manufacturing processes for any given product.
• Calculate resource requirements in terms of machines and manpower, balancing quality and cost.

Make-or-Buy Analysis:

• Perform comprehensive make-or-buy analyses, identifying the most efficient and economic production process.
• Evaluate pros and cons for different scenarios to aid Business Unit (BU) decision-making.

Production Equipment and Layout Planning:

• Validate BU requests for new production equipment and prepare detailed business cases.
• Plan layout and infrastructure requirements to support informed decision-making processes.

Automation and Execution:

• Identify opportunities for automation and prepare technical specifications.
• Obtain quotations, lead execution from nomination to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and oversee the handover process.

Manufacturing Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain all manufacturing process documents, including Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), work instructions, job cards, and other operator guidelines.

Cost Structure and Product Costing:

• Establish cost structure components in collaboration with production and finance teams.
• Derive accurate product costing to inform pricing strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

• Develop and implement process improvements with the operations team to reduce production time and eliminate waste.
• Monitor productivity at various stages and address procedural problems.

Variance Investigation:

• Investigate unoptimized usage of manpower, machinery, or materials in collaboration with production and finance teams.
• Recommend corrective actions to enhance efficiency.

Best Practices Deployment:

• Coordinate with the BU to implement recognized best manufacturing practices, such as 6S and Kaizen.
• Monitor deployment effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed.

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
