About this opportunity:

We are looking for an IN (Intelligent Network) Engineer to join the team responsible for the configuration, performance and operational stability of the charging and service control environment. You will work with design teams, operations and business stakeholders to deploy and validate low-level designs, manage changes, handle incidents and support service launches. This role suits a proactive problem-solver who values accuracy, clear communication and timely delivery.

What you will do:

  • Review, test and validate Low-Level Designs (LLDs) in test and live environments; coordinate with design teams to resolve issues that could impact the network or other promotions.
  • Deploy and test configurations on live systems and perform post-deployment validation (PAT).
  • Troubleshoot customer complaints and handle trouble tickets and restoration tasks (2nd level).
  • Validate and test changes from project and ADM teams; perform cleanup of outdated configuration trees in the Ericsson Charging System.
  • Configure SMS and voice short codes for marketing and business teams; manage operator and notification configurations.
  • Configure AIR and SDP functions (mobile refill, balance enquiry, charging, notification and subscription products) and work with templates across rating, policy and service definitions.
  • Create and update maintenance routines and performance reports; investigate disturbances and support emergency handling.
  • Participate in change request handling, capacity planning assessments and network integration activities; support audits on request.

The skills you bring:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Telecom or IT
  • Solid experience with charging systems (Ericsson SDP, AIR, OCC, CSNMT and related nodes) and IN business configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of tariff design, RMA handling, and templates for rating/policy/service definitions.
  • Practical skills in Linux system administration, Oracle database administration, Unix shell scripting and general programming for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of GSM/WCDMA, core network elements (MSC/GMSC/STP/HLR), IP networking, routing and traffic handling concepts.
  • Experience with virtualized hardware installations and basic capacity planning and network impact analysis.
  • Proven analytical, investigative and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

This role focuses on ensuring service quality and network performance through careful configuration, testing and fast, accurate incident resolution — please get in touch if you want to discuss how your experience fits this opportunity.
