Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit an IDB (Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging) Manager for the IMEA (India Middle East and Africa) region!

The role can be based out of our Dubai or Riyadh office.

Job Overview:

The IDB manager will be a key member of IMEA’s HC function. The IDB manager will play a pivotal role across our business and into different sub-functions as we recognize that creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace that values and leverages diversity is a key driver to our success. The role is pivotal in fostering an environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. In this role, the IDB manager will champion global and regional initiatives that promote equity and belonging, drive innovation and enhance employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will be to act as the IDB manager for the IMEA region, coordinate efforts with the Global Center of Excellence for People Experience and lead on global and regional projects and programs, working closely with the Executive Director of Talent. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Engage relevant stakeholders in the development and execution of the IDB strategy for IMEA aligned with the firm’s but also the region’s overall goals and values, especially within the broader HC team
  • Develop, review and implement policies that promote inclusion, diversity and belonging
  • Create and facilitate training programs to raise awareness and educate employees about inclusion, diversity & belonging
  • Collect and analyze data related to diversity metrics, employee engagement and retention to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and regular reporting
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Function and HC, senior stakeholders of the business and relevant functions to embed IDB principals into all areas of the business
  • Work closely with all IMEA markets, identifying market specific focus areas and requirements when it comes to IDB
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the global team for People Experience to promote and implement global IDB related initiatives
  • Cultivate and recognize IDB advocates, fostering a community of leaders who exemplify and promote inclusion, diversity and belonging
  • Support our Colleague Resource Groups to grow and foster a sense of community
  • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in the IDB space
  • Act as an advisor to the business on IDB related topics

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the IDB space, experience in a professional services firm preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in the IDB space in the IMEA (India, Middle East & Africa) region
  • Proven experience of delivering impact and driving change management processes on culture change and/or inclusion, equity, diversity and belonging
  • Project management and execution in fast-paced environment, with proven impact
  • Ability to design and deliver innovative solutions to inclusion, equity, diversity and belonging challenges
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across a matrixed organization

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven ability to think strategically and elevate perspective beyond the day to day by identifying and assessing long term opportunities and challenges
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships across a dynamic and complex matrix structure
  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills and ability to synthesize complex information into key messages and practical tools and guidance
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and understanding when to escalate an issue
  • Ability to speak up and challenge the status quo
  • Flexible approach and adaptable to change
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and in a multi-cultural environment
