Role Purpose:

The ICT Support Specialist is responsible for providing first-line technical support to users across the organization. This role ensures proper documentation, maintenance, and performance of IT equipment and systems. The ICT Support Specialist plays a key role in maintaining daily operations, resolving technical issues, and supporting staff by using updated technologies to improve service delivery.

Key Accountabilities:

• Document all ICT devices within the organization and log any daily issues or malfunctions.
• Perform regular and preventive maintenance for all ICT equipment.
• Respond to user inquiries related to technical issues, provide solutions when possible, or escalate to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure that systems are functioning properly and equipped with the necessary software (e.g., operating systems); escalate major failures to vendors or maintenance specialists.
• Prepare technical reports and continuously improve work processes by leveraging modern technologies.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and MS Office tools
• Basic understanding of networks, printers, and security protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
