The Project

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Provide strategic oversight of the general contractor’s HVAC design, installation, and commissioning proposals, ensuring alignment with stadium-specific requirements and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE).
• Oversee the integration of HVAC systems with building management systems (BMS), energy management platforms, and fire safety systems.
• Review and approve load calculations, equipment selections, ductwork layouts, and control strategies to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Advise on advanced technical solutions for high-capacity cooling, redundancy, and climate control, promoting sustainability and smart stadium technologies.
• Ensure the construction supervision consultant (CSC) is effectively monitoring HVAC works for quality, compliance, and operational readiness, including witness testing and commissioning.
• Escalate unresolved technical or performance issues to the project director and relevant leadership for timely resolution.
• Prepare and present HVAC status reports and technical recommendations to project leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Facilitate coordination between the general contractor, CSC, and design consultants to resolve technical queries and secure necessary approvals.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
• Professional qualification (or equivalent).
• 15+ years of experience.
