EFG is looking for an HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations and services to join our team in KSA. This role is essential for ensuring that all HR-related activities align with local labor laws and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in hands-on HR operations, KSA labor law compliance, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, collaborating effectively with both overseas teams and local dotted line managers.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

What you'll do:

The HR Generalist supports the execution of core HR functions across EFG in the Kingdom, ensuring compliance, consistency, and efficiency in HR service delivery is on time. With a small, dynamic team of over 35 staff members we serve in KSA, this role is essential in fostering a collaborative workplace culture. The HR Generalist will be responsible for employee relations, post recruitment support, HR operations, and policy implementation while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR support Support employee engagement, recognition, and cultural initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and Saudi labor law Create contracts on Qiwa and EFG templates for all staff.
  • Create employment letters for different purposes (e.g., banks, embassies, support letters)
  • Provide knowledge and support regarding the Iqama transfers process.

Onboarding support:

  • Support global mobility in selecting the right visa for international talents, as well as provide them with any documentation that supports the visa process.
  • Conduct a country-specific courtesy welcome call to inform candidates about onboarding steps and expectations.
  • Support the global onboarding team by providing post-recruitment support and any relevant documents or guidance.
  • Conduct post-arrival meet and greet and handle onboarding activities related to medical, Iqama, and office allocation.
  • Support local and international employees in settling in by acting as a point of contact.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in EFG's systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law and EFG KSA's policies.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management.
  • Conduct labor investigations and problem-solving.
  • Support the global HR team and work closely with them to close system tickets and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Expertise and knowledge in managing the following Governmental portals:
    • Qiwa, Muqeem, Nitaqat, Mudad, General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) & CHI.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Support global payroll team in review inputs and benefits administration for the KSA office.
  • Address employee queries related to compensation and benefits for the KSA office.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Effective problem-solving and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • High adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and related regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a multinational organization or global entities.
  • Certifications in HR practices are a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD, HRMP).

Nice to have:

  • Experience, knowledge, and passion for esports and gaming.

Please note: This position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals, currently residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires hybrid attendance, with regular in-office presence at our Riyadh location as per business needs.
