You'll be an advocate of Google's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made.

As a Human Resources Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor for our employees, managers, and leaders and contribute to high-priority country-focused HR programs aligned with our people plan.

You will navigate and resolve employee relations issues, manage programs that help develop Googlers, and lead change within the organization by supporting complex reorganization projects and supporting Googlers through these transitions. You'll coach leaders and consult on team effectiveness to build stronger organizations. You will Google employees in their day-to day HR topics and executing key HR programs, and manage employment policy and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in the country.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic consultations around a variety of Human Resources (HR) topics aligned to the POps Menu of Services such as performance enablement, team/manager/leader effectiveness, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, navigating transitions.
  • Contribute to the deployment of high priority country focused HR programs and initiatives, aligned to the country people plan.
  • Identify and drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure work is in service of improving the Googler Experience in the country.
  • Work with partner teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of HR processes in the country.
  • Manage employment policy and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
