Purpose of Position
Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through effective communication and engagement
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into HSE incident and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations and corrective actions taken.
Weekly reports: Prepare and distribute weekly reports summarizing HSE performance, activities and key metrics to BV senior management and the client (Eastern region), use the reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement and support the decision making
Develop impactful HSE presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to effectively communicate HSE concepts and policies.
Maintain professional and engaging slide design
Manage HSE storages, ensure compliance, organization, and proper inventory control of safety equipment, PPEs, emergency supplies.
Support the HSE Supervisor: Collaborate closely with the HSE Supervisor to assist in the implementation and management of HSE programs and initiatives, incident investigations, training, regulatory compliance and assist in reports preparation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Foster positive relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote cooperation, open communication and collaboration in HSE matters
Qualification And Experience
Bachelor Degree
3-4 year of experience
Skills & Qualities:
Occupational Safety and Health Professional Certificate, Operations, Support functions, Business development.
- To maintain a safe and sound environment all the time for the protection of common labor so that the work with satisfaction and industry can grow with better progress continuously such as Chemical Engineers, maintain a safe and sustainable working environment
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs: Design and implement HSE programs and initiatives aligned with applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company goals. These programs should cover areas such as occupational health and safety, environmental management, emergency response, risk assessment and incident investigation.
