We are seeking a dedicated Saudi national to join our team as an HSE Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure the well-being of employees and compliance with industry regulations. This position involves identifying and mitigating potential hazards unique to the construction environment.

Your new role, what's involved?

  • Develop, evaluate, and administer company policies and procedures concerning HSE matters.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of HSE systems for effective site control.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to the safety of personnel and equipment, environmental regulations, and other prevailing legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site workers to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
  • Create and administer orientation programs for project employees.
  • Supervise, control, and guide area HSE Officers.
  • Generate regular reports on HSE performance and incidents.
  • Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) assessments and Simultaneous Operation Procedures (SIMOPS).
  • Conduct periodic inspections and mock drills to check the efficiency of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • Assist the construction team in implementing the Permit to Work system.
  • Provide support for company-wide HSE initiatives, such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Prepare and implement project-specific Safety, Health, and Environmental plans.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, prepare safety bulletins, and promote HSE awareness.
  • Maintain and control safety documents, HSE statistics, manuals, and procedures.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience as an HSE Officer in construction safety.
  • Project-based safety control experience within the construction industry.
  • Competent knowledge in HSE practices and regulations.
  • Certification in OSHA Construction Industry and NEBOSH (IGC1, IGC2, and IGC3).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Saudi national is required for this role

  • Strong management and leadership skills.

  • Ability to develop solutions to improve site safety conditions
