Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team at our state-of-the-art stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the HSE Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our facility, staff, and visitors during various events and daily operations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadium
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors
  • Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs
  • Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during sports events and other large gatherings
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in stadium management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large-scale facilities or stadiums
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operations
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools
  • Familiarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
