WSP is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated HSE Inspector to join our team in Riyadh for a high-profile infrastructure and urban development project. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of HSE inspection experience, particularly within large-scale construction environments. This role is vital in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site operations.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of site activities to ensure compliance with project-specific HSE plans, legal requirements, and WSP standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and practices and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.
• Monitor the implementation of control measures and safety precautions on site.
• Assist in incident investigations and prepare reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions to workforce and subcontractors as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and non-compliance issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture by supporting awareness campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
• Liaise with the contractor’s HSE personnel to ensure proper implementation of the HSE management system.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HSE Inspector on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and best practices.
• Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
• Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site.
• Must be a Saudi National.
• Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) membership or eligible to obtain one.
