Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Consultant to join our team! In this role you will get to or provide expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

This role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE programs, conducting risk assessments, and performing audits to enhance workplace safety. The HSE Consultant works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to ensure workplace safety and environmental protection.
  • Monitor HSE performance and conduct safety audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs on HSE best practices, emergency response, and workplace safety.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve HSE initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
  • Develop and maintain safety reports, documentation, and compliance records.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and industry professionals to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SHARP Management safety procedures and corporate HSE guidelines.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as required.


What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in HSE consultancy or workplace safety may be considered.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in risk assessment, safety audits, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Strong communication and training skills for educating employees on HSE policies.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and external regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for maintaining compliance records.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to details.
