Job Summary:
The HR & Government Relations (GR) Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, employee relations, and compliance with local labor laws. This role will also oversee government relations, ensuring that the company adheres to all regulations and maintains a positive relationship with relevant authorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background combined with experience handling governmental processes and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (HR) Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute key HR functions, including compensation, benefits, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and other HR administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage employee relations processes and ensure effective resolution of workplace issues.
- Handle compensation, benefits, and payroll in compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
Government Relations (GR) Responsibilities:
- Act as a key liaison between the company and government agencies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulatory changes, and employment policies to ensure full compliance.
- Manage relationships with government entities such as the Ministry of Labor.
- Process work visas related to overseas hiring.
- Maintain high Nitaqat percentages, Saudization, and Tawteen of company CRs.
- Handle labor disputes, audits, and inspections in coordination with legal counsel.
- Ensure timely submission of government reports and documentation.
- Perform additional HR and government relations responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR and government relations.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and government processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems, payroll software, and MS Office.
- Excellent written and spoken command of both English and Arabic languages.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
