ENGIE’s Business Unit for the KSA RHQ, has activities in large scale power generation and water desalination, gas retail & distribution, LNG and energy services for B2B customers. Leveraging on its strong positions, the BU is developing its presence in renewable energies, in the gas value chain and in energy efficiency services.


Objective

  • Efficiently manage the purchasing process for the daily operations of the KSA regional office (KSA RHQ). This includes but not limited: Administration, Human resources, IT, Office Management, Communication, etc.…
  • Contribute to the regional savings in G&A by negotiating with existing suppliers, finding new suppliers, identifying new processes and support in the reduction of the needs;
  • Contribute to review, amend and implement the KSA RHQ purchasing procedures according to the Group and regional policies, INCOME controls;
  • Provide support in G&A purchasing matters to other regional offices: share the knowledge and support when required on G&A suppliers and global contracts;
  • Become master in SAP and become SAP Procurement Key User, with the support of the CPO;

Internal Interfaces

  • KSA RHQ: Accounts, Travel Manager, Business Quality (INCOME), all support functions in KSA RHQ HQ,
  • Occasionally: satellite offices
  • NewCorp: Travel Category Manager

External Interfaces

  • Suppliers;
  • Occasionally - KSA RHQ OMCO/AMCO Companies Procurement department.

Reporting line
The HQ Buyer will report to the Head of Procurement.


Arear of Responsibility

  • Collection of data for internal & external benchmarking related to KSA RHQ procurement activities;
  • Alternative suppliers on G & A;
  • Travel suppliers: airlines and hotels;
  • New functionalities in SAP for Procurement

Policies, Objectives & KPI’s

  • Ensures coherence of the Procurement governance and its translation in the daily activities in the KSA RHQ, including SAP;
  • Uses SAP to create all the G&A PO within the delay agreed;
  • Ensures continuous improvement in the internal KSA RHQ HQ procurement processes and Travel;
  • Contributes to the realization of purchasing gains G&A in the KSA RHQ:
  • Follow up and management of critical and strategic suppliers for G&A HQ KSA RHQ, if any;

Procedures, methods & sharing

  • Provides feed-back on potential improvements for future projects, purchasing;
  • Use of collaborative tools in the daily realization of tasks.
  • Travel: Support in the implementation of new policies and contracts in KSA RHQ region;
  • Prepares and deliver training for new comers, refresher:

Planning

  • Contribute to the planning process of Purchasing KSA RHQ HQ, including coordination with departments, reporting.
  • Ensure SAP functionalities are used at the maximum potential to optimize workload and compliance;

Implementation

  • Apply Group and regional governance policies and regional procedures in the daily operations, including SAP;
  • Analyze the G&A spent of the KSA RHQ;
  • Sourcing activities related to G&A KSA RHQ;
  • Coordinate when needed the other regional offices on G&A Purchases with same or different suppliers as in KSA RHQ

Monitor & Report

  • Organize the ‘loop back / evaluation ‘of G&A procurement within KSA RHQ HQ;
  • Reporting on G&A KSA RHQ HQ

Audit & Control

  • Ensure proper documentation for each souring and purchasing action on which takes the lead;
  • Support any Group or external audit;

Degree / Experience

  • Bachelor degree economics, commerce or business from a reputable university;
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement
  • Exposed/contributed to purchasing processes, management of G&A suppliers;

Specific Knowledge / skills

  • Team player Dynamic, Flexible;
  • Self driven; responsible and proactive;
  • Good organization skills, good communicator; pays attention to details;
  • Basic analytical and negotiation skills; Good English is a must;
  • Good knowledge of all MS Office applications (specially excel and word);

Business Understanding

  • International multicultural experience;
  • Experience working as a team member;

Location/travel

  • KSA/ Travel for training occasionally;

Other

  • Ability to work efficiently in a broad cultral spectrum.
