Health & Safety - QPAC - SPA 328

Qiddiya Investment Company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager for the Qiddiya Performing Art Center (QPAC) to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all operational activities comply with established safety standards and regulatory requirements, thereby protecting our employees and stakeholders.

Your commitment to fostering a safety-first culture will be vital in the implementation of effective health and safety programs across various departments and projects at Qiddiya.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures specific to QPAC, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's organizational objectives
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, evaluating compliance with health and safety regulations and identifying areas for improvement
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and implementation of corrective actions to mitigate future risks
• Facilitate and deliver health and safety training and seminars to staff, promoting continuous awareness and enhancement of safety culture
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated approaches to health and safety management across all levels of operations
• Monitor and report health and safety performance metrics, recommending actionable improvements based on evaluation results
• Act as a point of contact for health and safety-related queries, providing expert advice and support to project teams
• Stay updated on current regulations, industry standards, and global health and safety trends to ensure compliance and best practices
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• At least 4-10 years of relevant experience in health and safety management, preferably within large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices
• Demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety programs and initiatives effectively
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence staff at all levels
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to health and safety excellence
