Position Overview

The Head of Insurance Relations will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key insurance providers to drive business growth and secure favorable agreements. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual with excellent networking and communication skills who can foster collaboration and identify mutually beneficial opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, and other key private and public stakeholders in the healthcare and insurance industries.

• Represent United Pharmacy in meetings, conferences, and events to build industry connections and promote brand.

• Identify new opportunities for collaboration with insurance providers to enhance the company’s service offerings and customer reach.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with insurance companies to secure favorable terms and maximize value for the business.

• Work closely with internal teams to align insurance strategies with the company’s growth objectives.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on market positioning and partnership strategies.

• Advocate for the company’s interests with insurance providers, ensuring alignment on shared goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, or insurance partnerships, preferably in health insurance or retail pharmacy sector.

• Proven track record in negotiating and managing high-value contracts and partnerships.

• Strong understanding of the insurance landscape and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Proactive, results-driven, and highly organized.
