The Role

We are seeking an electrical building services engineer to join the team at our Riyadh office, to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects.

Predominantly working with some of the largest and most innovative corporate entities across the MENA region, you will deliver cutting edge workplaces that allow these companies' employees to do their best work and change the world.

The successful candidate will take a key role in delivering these projects. You will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines, including external local engineering partners, to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

The Skills

Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), and ideally having gained relevant experience in an Electrical Design Engineering role within a building services context (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design, security systems etc), and having experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.

You have proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
