A Government Relations Officer (GRO) in a Saudi Arabia plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with government and regulatory bodies. They often act as a liaison between the firm and these entities, ensuring seamless communication and mutual understanding.
The GRO works closely with the Managing Partner and Office Manager to ensure the seamless functioning of our operations in Saudi Arabia.
Other responsibilities include:
The GRO will be reliable and hardworking and apply the right communication to their peers. They must have the ability to work to tight deadlines. The nature of the role also requires a self-starter who is extremely organized with the ability to juggle priorities and work on their own initiative, recognizing the need for absolute confidentiality and professionalism. Strong communication skills are essential.

The GRO works closely with the Managing Partner and Office Manager to ensure the seamless functioning of our operations in Saudi Arabia.
Other responsibilities include:
- Liaise and work with Office Manager on matters related to new visa applications of new joiners and dependents (if any).
- Liaise and work with Office Manager in renewing office licenses/certificates.
- Handle payments of various government-related vendors.
- Attend to various administrative and client-related matters which would require visits to various government agencies in KSA.
- Delivery of documents, client or business services related, in the absence of office assistants.
- Perform all other duties as necessary and as assigned by the Managing Partner and Office Manager for efficient functioning of the office and firm.

- Exhibits professionalism by recognizing and adhering to all Firm policies, including attendance guidelines, dress code, security measures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintains positive, professional, courteous and flexible demeanor when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive in clarifying instructions from fee earners/manager should they be unclear or if deadlines are not made explicit.
- Responds to internal and external enquiries politely and professionally.
- Supports other members of the team and provides cover as and when necessary to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and meets the required deadlines.
