Overview

The Government Affairs Liaison will serve as a vital connection between PRG KSA and government entities, ensuring the company operates in full compliance with local laws and regulations. The role encompasses handling permits, registrations, and licenses, while also cultivating strong relationships with government authorities to streamline business operations and address any regulatory needs effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the events, entertainment, or live production industry.
  • Familiarity with KSA’s Vision 2030 initiatives and their impact on the sector.
  • Previous administration experience within an office environment.
  • Strong communication – fluent in English and Arabic, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Smart and Presentable.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and act quickly.
  • Good level of computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Mature approach to dealing with people at all levels of the organisation .
  • Ability to learn and retain information within a reasonable time frame.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Reliable with a good time keeping record.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant government departments and officials.
  • Act as the company representative in matters involving local government authorities.
  • Oversee the preparation, submission, and renewal of business licenses, permits, visas, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to avoid penalties or delays in operations.
  • Stay updated on government regulations and laws affecting the company’s operations.
  • Ensure PRG KSA’s activities are compliant with Saudi regulations.
  • Handle any issues or challenges related to government matters, resolving them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with Accounts, Admin, Operations, and Legal teams to manage government-related requirements for employees and projects.
  • Provide updates on any changes in regulations or policies that may impact business operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of government approvals, renewals, and correspondence.
  • Prepare periodic reports on government-related activities and compliance status.
  • Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related role in KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi government policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
