A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Quality Engineer, you will inspect and test GIS and related components to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy quality specifications while serving as the primary contact for all project-related quality issues. You’ll prepare inspection test plans, coordinate customer quality audits, and lead root cause analyses for any serious quality problems that arise during project execution. Your expertise in high voltage apparatus and project quality management will be essential in implementing ISO 9001 quality systems and driving continuous improvement within the department.

As a Quality Engineer, you will inspect and test GIS and related components to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy quality specifications while serving as the primary contact for all project-related quality issues. You’ll prepare inspection test plans, coordinate customer quality audits, and lead root cause analyses for any serious quality problems that arise during project execution. Your expertise in high voltage apparatus and project quality management will be essential in implementing ISO 9001 quality systems and driving continuous improvement within the department.
How you’ll make an impact?
- Inspect, check or test the GIS and related components’ quality to follow up Siemens Energy quality specifications.
- Act as contact person for all project-related quality issues.
- Ensure that the project requirements (technical agreement, standard, specification etc.) can be fulfilled, take the role of QMiP in KSA
- Identify the quality risk (or potential) during project execution.
- Prepare the quality related ITP (inspection test plan), report, or other documents, issue the quality certificates.
- Coordinate the customer quality FAT, onsite inspection, or audit.
- Handle or coordinate the quality issue during project execution (Engineering design, drawing, production, routine test, final check, I&C on site)
- Quickly response for serious quality problem and lead root cause analysis or support for root cause analysis
- NCR close or review
- NCC date collection for quality problem from project
- Push and coordinate related department to perform preventive actions and corrective actions
- Implement the Siemens Energy quality policy and related instruction in the company, organize the internal audit if necessary.
- Carry out, implement, maintain and improve ISO9001 quality system of the department.
- Have deep knowledge of high voltage apparatus including assembly and testing, primary and secondary.
- Have knowledge of project quality management
- Familiar with MS Office especially for PPT
- Have good English oral and writing skills.
- Get familiar with APQP, PPAP process, and master the skill of problem solving, such as 8D, A3, etc.
- At least 3 years assembly or testing experiences on high voltage apparatus or related Quality management.
- University degree or above, major in electrical engineering or related engineering, the major of high voltage is recommended.
