Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and decisive General Manager to lead our operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the General Manager of Mövenpick Jeddah City Star hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring operational excellence, and driving strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and maximize profitability
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and superior customer experiences
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across all departments
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager, preferably in a luxury or premium hospitality setting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and driving financial performance
- Strong knowledge of rooms, sales & marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and food & beverage services
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a dynamic team
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementing performance-driven initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in analyzing data and generating actionable insights
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and culture is advantageous
- Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia
