Funds Review Specialist
National Development Fund (NDF)

To provide independent assurance over supervised entities internal control effectiveness on a periodic basis to NDF’s Governor, Board of Directors and other relevant government authorities. To perform a varied of effective reviews over the individual funds and ensure all activities are performed effectively and in line with leading practices and in alignment with local laws and regulation.
Functional Accountabilities Operational SupportOptimize the use of personal time/effort and assigned work tools/resources in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
Funds Review- To conduct compliance, operational and financial reviews over the Individual funds in line with leading practices and in alignment with local laws and regulations.
- To analyze and categorize SE’s findings, risks, government authority’s raised observations, and ensure adequate controls and mitigation plans are implemented to mitigate the identified deficiencies.
- To receive and analyze ad-hoc requests from NDF leadership as well as external authorities on targeted reviews within or across individual funds (which will most likely be across funds)
- Develop reports and provide objective and independent recommendations on corrective / mitigation actions as needed.
- Engage with third party service providers to provide support on specific reviews on the individual funds in specific areas if needed.
- Identify and categorize findings, issues and/or risks at the individual fund level and/or across funds.
- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet section requirements, policies and standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information that they have access to or came across during their employment at NDF.
- Fully-Adherence to all regulations and control functions within NDF in order to ensure that governance, Audit, risk and compliance matters are carried out in efficient and quality manner.
Essential: Relevant bachelor’s degree in business admin Finance / Accounting
Preferred (in Addition to Minimum): Relevant master’s degree in business admin Finance/Accounting
ExperienceMinimum of 2 – 5 years of experience in Funds review, Auditing, Compliance or any related experience.
