Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Full-Stack Developer to help build the MVP for our fintech peer-to-peer lending platform. The ideal candidate will work on both front-end and back-end development, with the mobile app being the primary interface for users. Experience with Alibaba Cloud services is essential, as the platform’s infrastructure will be hosted on it.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop the front-end of a mobile-first application.
  2. Build and optimize a scalable back-end system to support secure financial transactions.
  3. Integrate APIs for payment gateways and data analytics.
  4. Implement robust authentication, authorization, and security features.
  5. Set up and manage the infrastructure using Alibaba Cloud services.
  6. Work in collaboration with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
  7. Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the MVP meets functional and performance requirements.
  8. Maintain proper documentation for code, processes, and APIs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Programming Languages:

  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.

2. Front-End Development:

  • Strong experience with frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or Ionic for mobile app development.

3. Back-End Development:

  • Expertise in Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

4. Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud services (ECS, RDS, OSS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

5. Database Management:

  • Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

6. Security:

  • Understanding of financial data security, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

7. Version Control:

  • Proficient in using Git and collaborative development platforms like GitHub or GitLab.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in fintech or financial services application development.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies for lending/transaction purposes.
  • Knowledge of Arabic.
