Job Description

Advanced Formwork Co. Ltd (Doka) is looking for a highly motivated Formwork Instructor who will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and serving as the worksite representative for dealings with our clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support (professional briefing and training) to contractors during the initial assembling of system formwork
• Inspect formwork on site
• Act as a liaison between job site and Project Manager/Coordinator to monitor correct use of equipment at jobsite
• Ensure that the customer/client carry and practice the correct applications and assembly of system formwork
• Troubleshoot technical problems at jobsite and execute formwork solutions
• Attend site meeting with customer/clients
• Monitor the material delivery and ensure that it is return at site
• Issue Site Inspection Certificate.
• Conduct site inspections and record misuse of formwork materials.
• Provide constructive feedback to site services office and technical department
  
  

Qualifications

• qualification in a Technical/Civil Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years’ on-site experience in system formwork/scaffolding
• Ability to work independently and also as a team player in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
• Hands-on mentality and engaged personality, confident attitude
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to solve technical problems
• Time Management skills
• Organizational skills
• Good English language skills, Arabic is an advantage
• Full clean driving License.
• The position requires a level of flexibility as site support may be necessary outside of the normal working hours.
• Previous Doka Experience
