Sales Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote FMCG products, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence.
- Monitor sales performance, set sales targets, and ensure that sales teams are equipped to meet them.
- Identify and explore new sales channels, retail partnerships, and distribution models.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales and marketing strategies and ensure a unified approach to product positioning and promotions.
- Oversee the supply chain processes, ensuring product availability, timely distribution, and efficient inventory management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product movement from the manufacturer to the end customer.
- Analyze stock levels, manage stock rotation, and mitigate the risk of overstocking or stockouts.
- Monitor lead times, order fulfillment, and logistics to maintain a seamless supply chain.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor strategies.
- Analyze market dynamics to adjust sales tactics and stay ahead of the competition.
- Monitor sales data and customer feedback to adjust strategies and improve market penetration.
- Manage and enhance brand positioning, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with the marketing team to drive awareness and consumer loyalty through campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Monitor consumer behavior, identify opportunities for product improvements or new product development, and coordinate with RD teams for product innovations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, and other business partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues related to products, deliveries, or pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with distributors and retailers to ensure optimal profitability for both parties.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales, distribution, and operations professionals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members.
- Allocate tasks and ensure efficient workflows for the team.
- Prepare and manage the budget for FMCG operations, ensuring cost control and optimal resource allocation.
- Track and report on financial KPIs, such as revenue, profit margins, and market share growth.
- Analyze and optimize pricing strategies to balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Ensure all FMCG products comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Work with legal teams to ensure adherence to local and international product labeling, packaging, and safety regulations.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain product integrity and consumer safety.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive product visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on trade marketing activities and point-of-sale (POS) initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust campaigns as necessary to maximize ROI.
