Fit Out Interior Designer

The Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of interior design principles, materials, and local market trends, along with strong project coordination skills to ensure seamless execution from concept to completion. Responsibilities: Design & Concept Development: • Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives. • Prepare space planning, layouts, mood boards, and material selections aligned with project specifications. • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and cultural considerations in design execution. • Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to refine design concepts and ensure feasibility. Project Coordination & Execution: • Develop detailed technical drawings, 3D renderings, and construction documents for fit-out projects. • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure design intent is accurately implemented. • Supervise on-site fit-out execution to ensure adherence to design, quality, and timelines. • Resolve design-related challenges during project execution, providing innovative and practical solutions. Material Selection & Procurement: • Research and source suitable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures within budget and project requirements. • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of approved materials. • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in interior design. Client & Stakeholder Communication: • Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and project stakeholders. • Provide expert advice on interior design solutions tailored to client needs and market trends. • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of design and execution.

Requirements
Physical/Technical Requirements • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, and other relevant design software. • Understanding of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 and their application in construction and fit-out projects. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. • Able to drive and travel when there is a requirement present. • Possess good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. • Resourceful and diligent in seeking solutions to problems and adapting to new situations. • Experience in luxury, commercial, or hospitality fit-out projects. • Understanding of sustainable and smart interior design solutions. • Professional certification or membership in relevant interior design associations
