Fit-out Draftsman

Role Overview

Work onsite to produce detailed drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects. Apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring precision and excellence in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings for interior and fit-out projects.
• Interpret design concepts and architectural plans to create precise CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure design intent is maintained during project execution.
• Revise and update drawings as required and maintain documentation for project records.
• Participate in site visits to verify measurements and support installation processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations for all drawings produced.

Requirements for the Role

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a draftsman, preferably within the fit-out or interior sector.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of architectural and interior detailing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
