Customer Development Finance INTRODUCTION:

CD Finance is a business partnering job to CD team focusing on top line planning, Trade spend budgeting and forecasting, month end closing activities and results analysis, dealing with key partners are the CD country and channel heads and the regional sales managers, , key account managers, along with the internal stakeholders, in CD Finance team, controlling team, and cash & collection team.

If you can be fully responsible of the end-to-end process of Trade Spend management of the GT channel, performance trend analysis, claims revision, customer balance reconciliation and be the key contact person in Unilever with our sub-distributor then this role is just for you!


Channel Partnering:

  • Quarterly provision reconciliation and ensure right provisioning level.
  • Monthly analysis on promo actuals versus forecast review with CD Finance manager and GT Channel head.
  • He / She will be the key point of contact from Unilever side with the sub-distributor team.
  • Presenting finance performance in the annual Joint business plan with sub-distributor.


  • Net provision reporting at Channel/Category levels with commentary of aged balances.
  • GT Trade spend claims ownership, validation and processing on system.
  • Ensuring compliance and tracking of OTC controls related to CDF space.

Month End Closing and Reporting:

  • Promo actualization to reflect right provisions in P&L and Balance sheet.
  • Contractual cash up actualization by subchannel and category.
  • Mix Analysis by subchannel and pack size in case of Trade spend deviation.
  • Adhoc requests analysis on Trade spend and IMS Turnover during month zero.


Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Business acumen for manufacturing and distribution businesses.
  • Microsoft office basics is minimum, Advanced level is a plus.
  • PowerBI knowledge is a plus.


  • Good communication and analytical skills.

  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Working independently with high levels of integrity and discipline.
