The Field Specialist - Wellbore Intervention will be a vital member of the Completions and Well Interventions team, as this role will be responsible for directly supervising the installations of wellbore intervention equipment
As a Field Specialist -Wellbore intervention, you will be responsible for:
- Running multiple medium to high-risk applications in one or more product lines in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group
- Expanding and applying application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore intervention.
- Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job
- Providing front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
- Conducting on-the-job training for some Wellbore intervention applications as required
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering – Major in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Petroleum Engineering is preferred
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field working on workover systems and downhole tools.
- Have good experience with Retrievable service packers Retrievable Bridge plugs
- Previous experience in casing exits (Mechanical / Hydraulic Whipstock) and Wellbore cleanout is preferred.
- Previous offshore experience is preferred
- Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills
- Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
