Job Responsibilities: Presales activities (Key)
  • Answering RFx from the customer from the region of Saudi Arabia and extended.
  • Direct engagement with sales account for any opportunities in the region.
  • Solution design and solution presentation.
  • Product presentation to the customer.
  • Preparation of technical proposal
  • Addressing compliance statement.
  • Preparation of the BoM and the Draft commercial proposal.
Business Development (Key)
  • Be a partner to the sales organization and look for additional opportunities.
  • Understand the customer and pitch solutions from the entire Ribbon portfolio.
Product Related Activities
  • Understand the entire product portfolio of Ribbon.
  • Provide inputs to the product management regarding customer in order to fine tune the RM.
  • Develop business cases for the product with respect to the region.
Key Skills required
  • Understanding of the Optical Networking technology (DWDM/OTN)
  • Understanding of IP Technology. (MPLS, Routing protocols)
  • Experience with IP & Optical Network customers in the region.
  • Operational knowledge of the Ribbon Optical product would be an added benefit.
  • Knowledge of optical network planner for planning of DWDM and OTN.
  • Understanding of SIP and Voip Technologies (This will be an additional advantage)
  • Fluent communication skills in English. (Knowing Arabic would also benefit)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunications with at least 7+ years of experience in the telecom domain in the field of planning, implementation and operations.
  • Optional Business management degree.
