Facilities Supervisor

Job Purpose:
As a facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of DETASAD’s facilities, including accommodations, utilities, building systems, and site infrastructure. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards, while also supporting the operational efficiency of the company through proactive planning, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise day-to-day operations of accommodations, utilities, and building systems.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliability of facilities.
• Support space allocation planning to optimize usage across departments.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, audits, and incident investigations as needed.
• Manage vendor performance and coordinate with service providers (e.g., cleaning, HVAC, electrical).
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and maintenance issues.
• Monitor and report on energy usage and suggest optimization measures.
• Maintain documentation including maintenance logs, permits, safety checklists, and compliance reports.
• Assist in managing access control, safety systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Ensure that facilities-related permits and licenses are up to date and compliant.
• Support project teams in facility-related logistics, upgrades, or setup as needed.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to facilities management.
• Proactively suggest and implement innovative improvements to enhance facility processes and operations.
Important Requirements & Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of facility systems (electrical, HVAC, water, civil works).
• Familiarity with safety protocols, HSE regulations, and facility compliance standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple vendors and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and facility tracking tools.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage concurrent tasks and priorities.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil).
• 5–7 years of experience in facilities management, with HSE exposure.
• Professional Certificates: HSE certification is preferred (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
