Facade (Structural) Designer

We are currently seeking a Facade (Structural) Designer to join our team of talented professionals and contribute to the design and development of innovative and sustainable building envelopes.

Are you a skilled Facade Designer with a strong structural background and a sharp eye for precision? If you excel at structural calculations and shop drawing preparation, this opportunity is for you!

• Develop detailed facade shop drawings, ensuring full alignment with project specifications, architectural intent, and structural requirements.
• Perform comprehensive structural calculations and load assessments to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of facade systems.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and construction teams to ensure the seamless integration of facade designs into overall building plans.
• Review and validate material specifications, connection details, and fabrication drawings.
• Provide technical input and support during tendering, construction, and post-installation stages.
• Ensure all facade systems meet applicable Saudi Building Codes, international standards, and client expectations.

• Minimum Eight (8) years of hands-on experience in facade design, with strong exposure to shop drawings and structural analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, or other structural design software.
• Strong understanding of materials (aluminum, glass, steel, cladding systems) used in modern facade systems.
• Familiarity with GRC, ACP, unitized, stick systems, and other facade solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good command over English

• In-depth knowledge of structural principles related to facade systems.
• Familiarity with building envelopes, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and acoustic performance in facade design.
• Proficient in material behavior (aluminum, steel, glass, GRC, ACP, etc.)
• Strong command over design codes and standards such as ASTM, BS, EN, and SBC (Saudi Building Code).
• Understanding of fabrication and installation processes for curtain walls, unitized and stick systems, and custom facade components.

• Ability to prepare detailed structural reports, connection designs, and supporting calculations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot facade design issues
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, code-compliant drawings
• Effective coordination with cross-functional teams, including architecture, MEP, and site teams
• Strong documentation, presentation, and technical reporting skills
