We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication operations, manage a team of skilled workers, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in metal fabrication processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

- Supervise day-to-day activities in the fabrication department, ensuring optimal productivity and quality.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and support a team of welders, fabricators, machine operators, and helpers.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to guide fabrication processes.
- Ensure fabricated components meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to meet project requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Enforce compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Troubleshoot issues related to materials, equipment, or processes to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, labor hours, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in a supervisory role within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of welding, cutting, bending, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in using fabrication tools and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Experience with CNC machinery and automated fabrication systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Familiarity with ERP or production management systems.
