- Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Perform various clerical and administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Communicate with other department heads.
- Proven experience as a medical secretary or similar administrative position.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations and medical office procedures; knowledge of medical coding.
- Handle mail and faxes.
- Perform database and file system management.
- Handling communications and calendars.
- Minimum 3 years.
