About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

The Role Of Executive Pastry Chef

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of People and Culture to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

Reporting into the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading the daily operation of the pastry and bakery team; ensuring superior quality and consistency in the preparation of sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads, chocolates and show pieces.

Responsibilities will include selection, talent management and development of our pastry and bakery team, assisting in planning and developing menus, food costs, hygiene and sanitation, effective planning, budgeting and purchasing decisions, policy making and inventory control, and ensuring our guests feel receive the highest levels of service excellence.

Our Ideal Executive Pastry Chef Candidate Will Have

A special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of culinary standards consistently and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience. You should have a wealth of culinary experience in luxury resorts specializing in pastry design and creation, a desire to focus on the development of our team and a creative flair; bringing your personal touch and energy to all our food and beverage experiences.

Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
