In this role you will provide management and technical direction for all facets of Excellence in multiple disciplines under guidelines of the Program VP.

Strategic Leadership
- Support the development and implementation of the EPMO's strategic vision and goals: Align the EPMO's objectives with the overall organizational strategy,
- Foster a culture of excellence: Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance across all departments of the organization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: Build collaborative partnerships with senior leadership, project managers, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and support for EPMO initiatives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of EPMO methodologies and processes: Define, document, and enforce standardized project management practices, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze project performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of project portfolios: Assess the health and alignment of projects with strategic objectives and recommend optimization strategies.
- Identify and implement process improvements: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements: Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain a knowledge repository: Create a centralized repository of project management best practices, lessons learned, and valuable resources.
- Provide training and development opportunities: Organize workshops, training sessions, and certifications to enhance the skills and knowledge of project managers and EPMO team members.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration: Foster a culture of learning and sharing experiences among project teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems: Design and implement reporting mechanisms to provide timely and accurate insights into project performance, portfolio health, and resource utilization.
- Analyze data and trends: Utilize data analytics tools to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare executive-level reports: Present clear and concise reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understand and respect local customs, traditions, and business practices to build effective relationships with Saudi stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Arabic is often beneficial for effective communication and collaboration with local teams.
- Compliance with Local Regulations: Adhere to Saudi labor laws, regulations, and cultural norms.
- Alignment with Vision 2030: Ensure that EPMO activities align with the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
- Bachelor / Master in the engineering discipline from a Western University.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience of direct professional oversight of the following functional areas: project controls (cost, scheduler, and score trends), environment, safety & health, risk management, contracts, procurement, financial management, quality assurance and control on large scale projects.
- Expert knowledge of project process improvement, change management, leadership initiative, managing change in the infrastructure industry environment with major government and/or semi government projects
- Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
- Proficiency in both Arabic & English is MUST

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting local customs, traditions, and business practices.
- Compliance: Knowledge of local regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the industry and the specific challenges faced by the organization
