Event Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from concept development to execution and post-event follow-up. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop event concepts and proposals based on client requirements and budget
• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audio/visual equipment, transportation, and accommodations
• Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and desired outcomes
• Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• Oversee event setup, including decor, signage, and equipment placement
• Coordinate event schedules and timelines, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently
• Manage event staff and volunteers, providing direction and support as needed
• Monitor event progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure a successful outcome
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to foster future collaborations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management
• Proven track record of successfully executing events of various sizes and types
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
