About the Role:
Join our team as a Civil Structural Engineer and play a crucial role in safeguarding our projects' success. Your expertise in managing and mitigating risks will be key to driving innovation and ensuring a bright future for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the entire project and ensuring it adheres to the established timelines and budget.
• Coordinating with other project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and government agencies.
• Developing detailed design plans for all structural activities related to airport structures.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Verifying conformance to applicable local and international codes and guidelines in both design and construction practice.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Identifying potential risks to the project and developing mitigation plans.
• Monitoring and managing project risks throughout the construction process.
• Implementing quality control procedures to ensure the construction adheres to design specifications and meets industry standards.
• Conducting regular inspections and quality audits.
• Proactively coordinating with other disciplines for interface matrix, making sure that structural discipline is aligned with the architectural, ICT and all other engineering disciplines
• Addressing and resolving any design or construction issues that may arise.
• Developing and managing project budgets, tracking project costs and expenditures, Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending changes when necessary.
• Managing contracts with construction firms and subcontractors.
• Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
• Ensuring that all parties involved adhere to contract requirements.
• Obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably within a PMC project environment.
