Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Manager - Wet/Dry Utilities (Master Planning) to join our team! In this role you will get to provide management and direction for one of the large Engineering disciplines,

What You’ll Be Doing

• We need our Engineering Managers to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
• In this role you provide management and direction for an Engineering section within the KSP Masterplan Team
• You will Provide Guidance on the Wet and Dry Utilities development within the Masterplanning by External Consultants and will coordinate Design Reviews to ensure designs are delivered to a High Quality Standard.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Monitors the quality and progress of each discipline on the project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied. With Emphasis on Wet and Dry Utilities Masterplanning
• Works closely with Design Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity. Establishes standards and procedures manuals for each discipline.
• Supports precontract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.
• Actively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program.
• Will head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
• 8+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience
• Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required
• Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
• Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and
• efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments
