WSP is seeking an experienced Engineer - Structures/Civil to join our team for a major airport project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural and civil engineering, particularly in large-scale infrastructure and aviation projects. The role involves design review, supervision, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Structural Design & Review: Assess and validate structural and civil engineering designs, ensuring compliance with international and local codes and standards.
• Supervision & Site Coordination: Work closely with the construction team, ensuring structural elements are built as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs and construction follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, progress updates, and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to structural and civil components of the project.
• Problem Solving: Provide technical solutions to challenges encountered during design and construction phases.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in structural/civil engineering, with a focus on airport or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and local Saudi building regulations.
• Proficiency in structural design software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Experience in design review and site supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Prior experience in Middle East airport projects is an advantage.
