Job Purpose:

To Provides technical support to assigned unit in plant operations to meet plant production schedules standards. Identifies process problems, carries out studies and recommends solutions, and implements improvements in coordination with Operations and Project Engineering.

Key Accountabilities:

During R&M stage.

• Evaluate Process/quality/ efficiency/cost reduction changes.
• Audit plant performance, Catalyst Performance, identify bad actors and provide solutions.
• Provide process engineering coverage as required e.g. during emergencies & shutdowns.
• Provide Process input to Environmental Operating Procedure renewal (EOP)
• Lead plant improvement, optimization, debottlenecking, benchmarking, Sustainability, simulation studies, product development.
• Lead process engineering issues with T&I and Licensor
• Participate lab schedule development, endorse product specification, process MOC.
• Participate, in PHA.
• Evaluate new technologies.

During CSU Stage.

• Review detail process engineering deliverables, request for quotations (RFQs), Technical quotations, technical bids evaluation (TBE), hazard and operability (HAZOP), safety integrity level (SIL) and 3D Module Review during the project phase.
• Provide technical support to project management team (PMT, FAT, SAT), OIP (PRP, CSU), STRP4 (RCM, RBI, RIS, RCA), MRP (function location, SAP, e-SK) and SHEM implementation.
• Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Conduct process training sessions for Operations personnel based on agreed scope between PED, Operations and EOD Organizations.
• Perform assigned PED readiness program tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations and process design in process plants or petrochemical industry
