Job description: Job Purpose

This Position exists to implement project planning activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Functional Responsibilities

§ Implementing policies, guidelines to establish appropriate Cost control, Schedule practices for the company.§ Creation of Project Cost structures/ breakdowns (Tender budget) on SAP for ensuring the implementation of Cost control procedure.§ Develop project schedule, work breakdowns structures, weightages in accordance with Alfanar Planning manuels for follow up and control.§ Create & Maintains updated detail Project Cashflows and forecasting reports based on trend analysis throughout the life-cycle of the project.§ Initiate & Maintain updated detail project schedules and forecasting reports based on trend analysis throughout the life-cycle of the project.§ Supervision of project schedules (Baseline, Revisions, Recovery schedules) for ensuring the implementation in line with schedule procedures & Project Cost (Analyzing Installation, Manpower Budgets on SAP), Price for ensuring the implementation of Cost control procedure..§ Generate Monthly budget, schedule analysis reports (Including Manpower estimates, Equipment, Material delivery, Estimate to Complete, etc.) at project Level in Development/EPC Division along with the reasons for the Increases & Savings.the short brief of achievements/ reasons for delays in achieving Progress to all Stakeholders as per agreed timelines.§ Initiate Project budget revisions, workflows on SAP in co-ordination with project managers/ planning section heads on monthly basis.§ Reconciliate/ Analyze the project budget revisions closely with Finance department, increasingly in a consultancy role for verifcation of estimates (Actual Cost, Plan POC, Actual POC etc.)§ Analyze Project cost & establish reporting frequency on a project based on criticality of the deliverables.§ Co-ordinate with Sr. Planning Engineers for Accuracy/ Development of Dashboard Reports.
