Job Purpose:
Develop and optimize an equipment strategy that improve long-term mechanical equipment reliability. Also, strengthen focus on asset management to improve asset performance and provide technical support for reliable operations. Carry review signature vibration data & ensure reliability of all critical / semi-critical rotating equipment, oil analysis results, and PM reports to improve equipment reliability.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive Mechanical equipment OMS KPIs implementation to sustain and improve safety, reliability and availability.
- Develop optimized Maintenance strategies for Mechanical equipment.
- Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance to troubleshoot and fix rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Identify, evaluate, participate and implement SABIC initiative to improve the maintenance & reliability of rotating equipment.
- Support team to develop and manage the Mechanical equipment RCM and lead RCA, Bad Actors and Performance killer studies.
- Shall carry review signature vibration data, oil analysis results of rotating equipment and suggest corrective actions. Shall facilitate RCM studies for SABTANK systems.
- Recommend and implement upgrades/modifications to rotating equipment to increase reliability and reduce maintenance cost and operating issues.
- Shall carry out any other special tasks assigned by Management from time to time such as participating in RA/PHA/PSSR studies.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in similar position in Process, Fertilizer, Petrochemical Industry or Refinery preferably in the area of rotating / turbo machinery.
Job Specific Skills:
- Advanced communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, impact assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge in using SAP, Merduim, Q-Pulse and related system Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant software.
- Thorough knowledge of Rotating Equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of failure mechanisms, corrective and preventative methods.
- Ability to work on multitasks simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge in Risk Management
