Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Engineer specializing in landscaping and public realm projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that enhance the urban environment of Riyadh and surrounding areas.
- Develop comprehensive landscape and public realm designs that align with project goals and local regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering plans
- Conduct site analyses and environmental impact assessments to inform design decisions
- Create detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Oversee project implementation, ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, and timelines
- Incorporate sustainable practices and native plant species into landscape designs
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in landscape engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS systems
- Experience with landscape design software
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and urban planning principles
- Familiarity with local flora and environmental conditions in Saudi Arabia
- Understanding of Riyadh's urban planning regulations and public realm requirements
- Proven track record in designing and implementing public realm projects
- Ability to balance aesthetic considerations with practical and environmental factors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
